University Of KY Booster Shots Study

The University of Kentucky has been selected as a site to study the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccine booster shots.The study will be looking to determine if and when boosters may be needed, especially in light of the virus’s continuing evolution.It will also look to see if different vaccines can be mixed.To get answers, the university is looking to recruit adults who received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine by the end of February.Those who participated in UK’s previous Johnson & Johnson study are also eligible.Participants will be randomly assigned one of three booster regimens, and they will be monitored through blood samples and notes kept on a smartphone app.To learn more about the study or to see if you are eligible, visit “stop covid k-y dot com” and click on the “booster study” link.
