Still Time to Apply for FEMA Assistance

Still Time to Apply – Eastern Kentucky homeowners and renters who have damage to their property from the severe July floods still have one week to apply with FEMA. The registration deadline is September 28. Keep in Touch with FEMA – Nearly 800 Kentucky homeowners are ineligible for housing assistance due to a missed FEMA inspection. Almost 1,000 renters are also in danger of missing out on assistance because FEMA has not been able to contact them. Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362, visit DisasterAssistance.gov or use the FEMA mobile app.
