Remains of Chapmanville Man Found 70 Years After Disappearing in Korean War

THE REMAINS OF A CHAPMANVILLE MAN WHO DISAPPEARED MORE THAN 70 YEARS AGO IN THE KOREAN WAR HAVE BEEN FOUND. ARMY CORPORAL PETE CONLEY WAS REPORTED MISSING IN DECEMBER OF 1950 AFTER HIS UNIT WAS ATTACKED. HIS BODY WAS NEVER RECOVERED FROM THE BATTLE. CONLEY’S REMAINS WERE FINALLY FOUND JUNE 5th.
