Redstar Bridge In Letcher County Closing On Tuesday For Inspection

Now a heads up if you need to use the Redstar Bridge in Letcher County. On Tuesday the span will be closed all day so the Department of Transportation can conduct a comprehensive inspection including the deck, foundation and supports. The bridge will close at 9:00 a.m. and no reopening time was specified. There will be repair work taking place on the span but a schedule for that project hasn’t been finalized.
