Pikeville Paving Projects

Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in Pikeville say two major paving projects will begin this morning on Highway 7 in Letcher County.The first is from KY 7 north from KY 1410, also known as Airport Road, at Colson. That work zone will stretch nearly four miles to Indian Creek along mile points 19.5 to 23.3.The second is from KY 7 south from KY 588 at Blackey, starting at the Blackey bridge going north for about eight and a half hours through the four lane section at Isom to the Isom post office. The projects are expected during the daytome hours for several weeks.
