The 2,200 resident county is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Trail.he closest physician is in Maysville a half an hour away.According to the U.S Health Resources and Services Administration and the Appalachian Regional Commission, Robertson County is in a distressed economic situation. Ranking it in the bottom 10% of all counties in the country.But help may soon be on the way.The taxpayers of Mason and Robertson County purchased a $300,000 mobile examination vehicle.
