Louisa Police Receive Drug Overdose Treatment Kit For K-9 Kenya

The Louisa Police Department received a drug overdose treatment kit for its K-9 team. It was donated by the non-profit “Protecting K-9 Heroes” and contains first aid and trauma supplies for both K-9 Kenya and her handler Sergeant Steven Wilburn. There is also room to add extra water, ammo, and anything else they see fit. These gifts of protection were made possible by donations sponsored by Cheryl Loiacono in memory of Dean Wierzbicki.
