Lexington Man Arrested in Knox County with a Pound of Meth

INVESTIGATORS WITH THE KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAY THEY STOPPED A LEXINGTON MAN FROM BRINGING A LARGE AMOUNT OF METHAMPHETAMINE INTO SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY. 36-YEAR-OLD DAVID HAMBLIN WAS TRANSPORTING THE DRUGS FROM LEXINGTION INTO KNOX COUNTY WITH A SMALL CHILD IN HIS CAR. DEPUTIES RECOVERED MORE THAN A POUND OF METH FROM THE VEHICLE. HAMBLIN WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH TRAFFICKING IN A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT.
