Recent studies show that nearly one in five American adults with diabetes, ration their insulin to save money.Kentucky has the fourth highest diabetes rate in the country and advocates say they’ve seen insulin prices impact their lives.In Kentucky, around 13% percent of the adult population is diagnosed with diabetes, according to the American Diabetes Association, and many are required to take insulin.According to the American Diabetes Association, more than 26,000 people in Kentucky are diagnosed with diabetes every year.
