House Fire in Appalachia Claims 8-Month-Old Baby’s Life

WE’RE LEARNING MORE ABOUT A FATAL HOUSE FIRE IN THE TOWN OF APPALACHIA. IT HAPPENED EARLY MONDAY MORNING AT A HOME ON LOWER EXETER ROAD. AN 8-MONTH-OLD BABY GIRL DIED IN THE FIRE. A 30-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AND 3-YEAR-OLD BOY WERE ABLE TO ESCAPE THE FLAMES. THE WOMAN WAS TREATED AT LONSOME POINE HOSPITAL BUT HAS SINCE BEEN RELEASED. THE KENTUCKY STATE POLICE — NOW INVESTIGATING THE FIRE.
