Hiring Bonus
The governor says the state will use coronavirus relief funds to offer a $1,500 bonus for the first 15,000 people who want to return to work before July 30th. In order to qualify, you have to be 18 years old and have an active unemployment insurance claim.Governor Beshear also said last week he was considering ending the weekly $300 federal unemployment benefit before September, but believed now was too soon.
