Helping Victims Of The McDonald’s Fire

About 20 different local organizations, including Warm Souls for Worn Soles, local churches, fire departments, the tourism commission, and even the local jail, all came together to create a fundraiser for those who lost theri jobs in the recent Mcdonald’s fire in Eastern KY.For $5 a plate, people in the community enjoyed a spaghetti dinner and a concert from the band, Bourbon Branch. Employees of the restaurant that burned down say this moment is exactly what a loving community is all about. The event raised about $1700 to help those without work.
