Fatal Motorcycle Accident

A Kentucky man who was thrown from a motorcycle after hitting a deer died when he was hit by two cars during dark conditions, state police said.William L. Nelson, of Dexter, was riding with a passenger, Asia D. Sledd, when they hit a deer after 10 p.m. on Interstate 69 in Marshall County on Monday. Sledd went into the shoulder and Nelson, 35, landed in the roadway, state police said.Due to darkness and lack of road lighting, Nelson was struck by two cars, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Nelson was wearing a helmet, Sledd was not.
