Eastern KY Water Improvements

Some great news for Eastern KY. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Congressman Hal Rogers have announced the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) will be awarding $1.5 million to the Sandy Hook Water District.The funds, which come from ARC’s infrastructure program, will help improve water systems in the area.According to a release from McConnell and Rogers, the current Sandy Hook Water Treatment Plant is more than 60 years old and in desperate need of improvements.
