A Drug Arrest In Hazard

On Monday morning, a Hazard police officer reportedly saw a suspicious car parked on Brown Gay Lane. Inside two people who were “acting strange.” The officer spotted a marijuana cigarette on the dashboard of the car and deployed a K-9 unit. A search turned up a loaded 9 MM gun, a large amount of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, marijuana and digital scales. Several hundred individual baggies and needles were also found in the car along with more than $1,800 in cash. Thomas Brown and Megan Curtis were arrested.
